The Syrian uprising shows that the Arab revolutions are ongoing, despite the many setbacks and contradictions that have arisen since 2011.  Many different forces, among them a secular left, are contending with each other in a vast regional revolution that has yet to run its course. Kevin Anderson of US Marxist-Humanists takes stock of the current juncture.
