Nicaragua's President Daniel Ortega has announced that he is breaking off relations with Colombia in response to the "political terrorism" of President Alvaro Uribe. Nicaragua's announcement follows a visit to the country by Ecuador's President Rafael Correa, who is touring Latin American capitals in a bid to have the international community condemn Colombia's cross-border operation. The inconvenient facts and unanswered questions surrounding the attacks are legion, but the endemic sloppiness of the self-styled "researchers" is delegitimizing the entire project of critiquing the "official version." The ostentatiously named "Truth movement" is not clearing the air, but muddying the water.
